"lovely little place to stay, central location within easy reach of the centre. We checked in on the last day of the Christmas markets which is a great time to visit Bath. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Especially loved the en-suite which had a roomy walk-in shower and heated floor. Could be a bit more eco friendly though, the bar of soap was changed daily, as were the single-use mini bottles of toiletries. "

"From checking in at the bar you know that the quality of the room is going to be of a good standard as the pub itself is very nice modern but still classic feel of a country pub. Ate in the pub 1st night of the stay and food was a very standard and reasonably priced for the quality. Only slight negative we had was that although it’s in a quiet village a lot of traffic seems to come through it and can be heard in the accommodation. "Nice room, but although spacious, there was no chairs, only one stool, and no light over the dressing table mirror. Room was on 2nd floor up a narrow staircase which was awkward. Price was more expensive than expected with no breakfast included. I thought £185 for room only was too much. We went next door to Weatherspoons for breakfast instead."

"Nice warm and clean room called Ashley. Comfy bed and nice touches like a jar with fresh baked cookies with the tea and coffee. Only issue was the Bathroom light was on a sensor which meant it went out when you were in the bath shower or on the toilet. Very good breakfast and evening meals although a bit limited in the number of meal choices. This meant we only ate on one evening as we did not fancy the other things on the menu"
