"Was only there for one evening, check in was easy, reception very friendly. Told them I’d be leaving at 6am, and they said because I had breakfast included they’d put together a take away box for me, which they did - great unexpected service."

"Stayed here for 2nd time, made sure a kingsize bed as a double was too small last time. Staff always friendly and helpful. Room was upgraded to canal side room which was very warm , had a fan in there which a well needed. "

There is a lovely view from the upper level restaurant and the location itself is very handy for both the main town and a leisurely river walk. We enjoyed our 3 night stay and had a great meal at a nearby pub only 3 minutes walk away."
