"There was no heating on in our room when we arrived, and considering it was -2° outside, we expected more the heater in the bathroom didnt work and it was so cold in there that I couldn't have a shower before going out.. I was told it probably hadn't come on yet and she would sort it but the room didnt get very warm at all night.. "We loved the hotel and the staff were brilliant. It is on top of The Bull Pub! The pub was lovely, such a great atmosphere. The room itself was clean and a great set up for what we needed with our little boy. The second floor walking up to our room smelt a bit musty but overall the hotel was lovely. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic. So much choice! Highly impressed by the hotel and service for the price! Will definitely be back "

"Good location - staff friendly and helpful - room lightening very dull to read anything only bathroom light bright - no lifts only stairs - beds were small I was frightened to turn over incase I fell out of bed - seems an old building g needs a refurb to modernise it - windows didn’t open to stay open enough to get signing and radiators in a timer room very warm- otherwise it served the purpose glad we only stayed 1 night "

"One night stay along with our 15yr old son. All 3 of us stayed in the same room which was very spacious, set out lovely and very clean. We were impressed with the decor and fealt comfortable right from first entering. Yes it could do with a bit of an update but nothing to worry about at all. The management and staff couldn’t be more helpful during our stay right from checking in to having a bite to eat and a few drinks in the bar.
