"Nice property just off the main street, near train station. It is pet friendly with 3 resident cats roaming around the lobby. You get to book 2 sessions at the baths after checked in, the semi open bath on the 2nd level is popular, while the rooftop bath may not be a good idea in cold weather although the view is great. You get free use of the bicycles for your stay. There is no lift so you have to carry your luggages up and down the stairs."

"The property is clean and the space is large. The only bad thing about this place is the check-in procedures. Since there is no staff in the building, your only way to access is by the email sent by the property owner. The email arrive at 6pm on the day I check-in, after I reach out many time and through email, their offical website and Expedia. Take your risk when consider this place. "

"This is a nice little spot to stop in for a more traditional Japanese Inn experience for your stay in Aoshima. From the outside, it appears like a large house with a trailer on the property and a yard space large enough to fit a few vehicles. There is a sign at the front door that lets you know it is the Sea-Dweller Inn. The rooms are open Tatami with a table in the center. "The property was very close to historical sites and a lot of sightseeing spots. And the view from the window had a nice view of the lake."

"No bathroom!!!!!!! Overpriced tiny room ! It says “ shared bathroom” no only the hot spring room which is for all the residents! A con a rip off. I am going to sue them get a refund. Liars. DO NOT go there!"

"We stayed for 10 days and it was conveniently located and very clean. I wished they had air condition in the common aisle area as the weather can get very hot (the room, kitchen area had good air conditioning). Also we had guest complaining about any noises as you really had to open/close door quietly etc...and some guests the very last day was very noisy until 3am in the morning while the door of the rooms, youi could hear everything. We got extra towels etc as we requested it, but they should...

"Bettei Haruki is unique having only 6 spacious Japanese rooms. We loved their two gorgeous Onsen rooms which were perfect in every detail - will never forget these onsens and will miss them dearly.
