"The Koko Hotel was our favorite place to stay in Japan. The room was styled nicely and clean. It was the perfect location in Kumamoto - shopping and food were in the complex downstairs. Kumamoto Castle was a very short walk. The hotel buffett was amazing and reasonably priced. "

"I stayed here for 2 weeks and they were extremely accommodating! The breakfast buffet has a wide variety of options and they have a comfortable onsen that's available for use every morning and night. What's good too is that there's a lock keypad for the women's bath, so we don't have to worry about anyone intruding. The rooms are snug and comfy, but not too compact. Unfortunately there's no refrigerator, so if you're keeping any snacks or food, make sure it's something non-perishable. Overall, the location was convient, wedged in-between two delicious yakiniku places and just a 20 minute walk from the station."

"The place is awesome. Very roomy and there's an indoor bath as well as a great breakfast and tons of options for dining in the mall. It's a few steps outside of the station so it's amazingly convenient to get to and worth the slightly higher price as it is a very nice and fancy place"

"Skip the buffet if you’re looking for a continental breakfast option. At ¥3300, it was pricey for a coffee and a few slices of thick cut bacon. Like most of Japan, tourism is not really geared towards westerners- which is fine, just do your research ahead of time and find one of the many off-site options in the area. "

"I like the location. It’s great,close to train station. The room was clean and also the whole staffs were very nice and friendly, both at the front desk and staffs at the restaurant. It was very impressive!!!!!onsen was great!!!!"

"チェックアウト時忘れ物があったのですが、丁寧にご対応いただき大変助かりました。 ダブルルームでしたが大きい机があり、仕事を普通にできるので助かります。また屋上の大浴場は眺めも良く、清掃も行き届いており快適でした。てきれば、脱衣室に体重計を置いていただけると嬉しいです。"
