"We loved everything about this hotel except the buffet breakfast. Staff was professional and helpful. Shuttle was added bonus. Room was clean and spacious with a river view. Onsen was good. Right before this trip we stayed at the MGH Kyoto Station where the breakfast was prepared with heart and tasted very good. Since this hotel is under the same brand, we expected similar standard or better, but we were disappointed with the breakfast. Please do better. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay and will definitely return."

"This is an old western apartment building converted to hotel. The check-in is on the 8th floor. The classic elevator has a clock handle to show the floor number. I like the room and space with all the little amenities (pajamas, toothpaste, razor, etc)"
