"We loved our stay at this place! It is located right next to Carlsmith Beach Park where you can snorkel and swim. It is very nicely appointed and has everything you need. It was nice to have an elevator with our luggage. We met the maintenance man on the way in who was very friendly and guided us to our place. Parking is free with a dedicated parking spot. The owner is very responsive and helpful!"

"Owners of this 50 year old high rise have done a good job of maintenance and upkeep; always a challenge in a tropical location. Fellow residents/travelers were polite and friendly and we always felt safe. Coqui frogs were quite noisy as is the case in much of this area, but we kept the windows closed and slept well. Would recommend this place. One note to owners: knives need sharpening; very hard to cut much of anything. "

"The view is amazing! Very clean and bright. Beds were comfortable. One small accent chair would provide comfortable seating for a fourth person in the living area. Otherwise someone sits on a kitchen chair. The kitchen is set up nicely. A pocket door, swinging doors, etc. would give privacy to the one bathroom. We had a great stay. Mahalo "

Great central location to stay on the Hilo side of Hawaii for the volcano, botanical garden, falls and more. No AC but we did not need with the trade wind cross breeze from lanai. There was some remodeling going on in the unit next door which was noisy; however, we were not there much during the day anyway. Laundry is not in room and...

"This unit was a nicely appointed remodel in an older building. The view was beautiful, looking out over the gardens, pool and Carlsmith Park. It was very clean and comfortable, close to downtown and the airport. Within the building, each floor had one washer and dryer, most all were in disrepair and the pool was closed, no fault to the individual unit. Overall, very casual, quiet and relaxing place with a beautiful screened in balcony, furnished nicely."

"Access to the property was convenient and effortless. We were only a few blocks from most everything we needed. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed as were the bathrooms. Thank you for making sure we had coffee and creamer for our first morning - it was a life saver after getting in late after a long day of travel. The best part was how comfy the beds were. I slept like a baby! Can’t wait to stay at this property again in the future. Mahalo nui!"

"Nice, quiet and clean apartment. Easiest check in and check out process I’ve ever had with any rental. Lots of space if we were staying longer to store clothes, etc. The air conditioning worked great which isn’t always the case in Hawaii. Within walking distance of downtown. "Loved the view from the living room, dining room, and lanai - 180 degrees of ocean. We even saw whales!!The hosts were very responsive. We had trouble with a bedroom light, they had it fixed the next day. And when the power went out while we were away, they texted to warn us, and supplied flashlights and drinking water to make sure we'd be OK.I can't recommend this place enough!! Next time we travel to Hawaii I hope it's available!"
