"Stayed in this lovey studio for two nights to visit the Hilo side of the island. Location was great for going into Hilo for supplies, and it also made a great home base to visit Mauna Kea and Hawaii Volcanos National Park. The studio itself had everything we needed for our two nights. We enjoyed sitting outside on the lanai at night to enjoy the cool night air. You'll also want to explore the property grounds as it feels like you are in a jungle parades during the day, and a magical land at night with the laser lights.Only cons:No AC and coqui frogs are loud at night and roosters start crowing around 3:00 a.m. Bring earplugs.Pillows were very flat so we woke up with sore necks."

"Great Hotel. Definitely would stay again. Love the proximity to the airport, downtown Hilo, Coconut Island, restaurants and parks. A little nosy by most hotels are. I appreciated the ladies at the front desk, upon check in, sharing their knowledge of the hotels history (many renovations and buildings later, the first building was housing for workers; so many transformations). And the free beverage (kombucha). Mahalo nui loa! "
