"An amazing and unique traditional stay in a small town outside of Kyoto. It is secluded and we were still able travel to Kyoto, Nara, Osaka, and Kobe. Public transportation is provided multiple time every morning, and although I did a lot I highly recommend walking around the trails, and temples. "I did book this hotel for two nights but decided to book another hotel for the replacement of the second night here. This is an older hotel. It is next to the Arashiyama Train station. Great location for being next to a quiet train station. The inside needs updating. Our room is non smoking but walking to the room it smelled strong of cigarette smoke.
