"While this resort is beautiful and clean we had a few issues. First, it would have been wonderful to know that they will rent out many of the common areas (pool), restaurants and bars for private events. There was an event just about every night we during our 7 day stay. Some nights we were not able to use the bridge to cross to our villa so we (3 adults, 3 small children) had to walk around extra 4 buildings, other nights we were not able to use the main pool, sports bar or pool side bar. This is a bit frustrating considering there is an almost $30 daily resort fee for the use of these amenities. Another issue we had was that the pool side bartenders at Calypso would add extra shots into our supposedly $12 margaritas (for Margarita Week) WITHOUT asking, making it $28 with tax. The last issue we had was the AC was not working for 2-3 days of our trip. It was fairly cool weather the first few days so it didn’t bother us and once we called the front desk about it they got it fixed (not until 10pm when we returned and had sleeping babies and the villa was quite warm, but it was fixed and cooled down shortly thereafter). "

"Rooms are dated and could do with being updated but clean and comfortable, staff very friend and help in the restaurant and there was plenty to eat at breakfast. Pool area had a good amount of sunlougers, tables with parasols and pool towels."
