"We very much enjoyed our stay at he Buenaventura Grand Hotel. The only negative was the food. As all-inclusive guests and, I'm assuming because of the room we chose, we were given wrist bands giving us access to all restaurants and areas of the resort. "The only thing that surprised me was a 1,500 pesos security deposit. I’ve never had that at any other PV property. Upon checkout, they checked the room and immediately refunded it. "It’s a bit overpriced for what it is in my opinion although I have stayed here twice. They nickle and dime you on the most random things. The pool and the Mantamar access make it ideal. The whole “I’m your concierge” thing at check-in is really just a time share attempt- that’s the biggest turn off. Don’t tell me you are a concierge, just tell me you are a time share salesperson. They almost force you to go through the speech unless you stand firm. There is no real concierge here. "
