"The landscaping outside was absolutely beautiful the pool and tiki bar as well. The area where we had brunch was really gorgeous too, everything felt like a tropical oasis. The check in area and my room were spacious and comfortable, wonderful view from my balcony! The staff was great and accomodating & I did notice that some area were in need of upgrade, or repairs, such a the elevators. Overall definitely will go back to the sands next time I'm in Pompano"

"I was here with some friends for 3 nights. The location could not have been better. Nearby convenience store, drugstore, and just a few blocks from all the shops and restaurants of Lauderdale by the Sea. Also just a few blocks walk to the beach. The hotel also has a heated pool and provides pool/beach towels. The rooms are spacious and clean. There is ample outdoor seating. Plenty of parking. The housekeeping staff is friendly. Valentina at the front desk went out of her way to assist us. I...
