There was a nice sitting area on the side of the hotel that was covered. It was by a busy street and noisy. They had a few restaurants in the area to walk to.

The shuttle service from the airport was a lifesaver. We landed at 1:30am and it was nice not worrying about how we were going to get to the hotel. He told us exactly where to meet him and loaded our bags for us. The front desk lady was lovely despite the fact that it was so late. The room was clean and the breakfast was yummy. Easy check in and check out. Lovely experience.

This was perfect stay, walkable to family in the area. My room was spacious and clean, comfy bed. I used the gym daily, there were never more than 2 people. Staff was professional & friendly. Great coffee & breakfast in the lobby. Try 3 Son's brewing for great pizza. Getting shuttle pickup from airport a bit chaotic but fine.

Good morning. My husband and I reserved this room before our cruise for two reasons. 1. We have stayed at Tru hotels before and like them for their cleanliness And 2. This hotel had high reviews. Unfortunately, during our stay, we did not find our hotel to be cleanly. The hall way was not sweep, as well as the hotel appearance was run down. The were holes in our blinds in our room. When we went to go outside to sit, the furniture also had rips and tears in it. When we approached the hotel staff about some of these issues, they were not friendly. The front desk seemed to have a language barrier, and issues with rooms not being ready until 4 o’clock. I felt bad for them, as I know it is out of their control. It is very obvious that management is not strict, and does not take pride in the hotel. Also, we were charged for a hold, which I understand, but we were not told about that up front. We had to go back down and ask the front desk again, about this charge. My father in law travels for a living and is a diamond member and stays at this chain primarily. He has never had an issue like we have seen here. He is the one that has recommended us to reach out to Customer Service, because he knows that Hilton holds their properties to a higher standard. We are over all disappointed, especially for the cost of the room. If I wanted to stay in a run down place,I would have stayed two blocks over in the Comfort Inn, and saved $200.

Tru By Hilton is a simpler style hotel. It has all the amenities you need but no real extras. Meaning there’s no restaurant and no pool. It is great for the night before getting on the cruise.

I stayed at this hotel prior to a cruise and it was perrfect for what I needed. The hotel is close to the airport and the port. There are restaurants within walking distance. They offer for fee transport to the port, free breakfast and coffee and tea all day. The rooms were clean and adequately sized for two people. Overall, the hotel provided excellent value for what I needed. I would recommend.

Very convenient to Everglades pier where we will embark on our cruise. Walking distance to a restaurant. Free breakfast and you can book transportation to the pier with their transportation partner.
