When we checked in i was over the moon to hear that we had been upgraded to a suite.It was beautiful, wonderful view from our window. Breakfast was lovely. Staff so friendly. "Stayed here for one night on business. Great rate for the night. Check in great. Room fantastic with a bit of wow factor upon entering. Very clean, comfy bed. Swimming pool fantastic. Fusion restaraunt food lovely but service not great. I was approached almost as soon as i sat down for food ordering but i hadnt seen the menu yet so i asked for 2 minutes. 15 minutes later a server came and apologised for the wait. Which at least she acknowledged i was waiting. Food came, lovely and tasty, but noone checked on me to see if everything was okay with my meal. Then when i finished my meal i waited for what felt like forever for someone to clear my plates. When someone finally came over i just asked for the bill and didnt even wait for my plates to be cleared. Just a bit of advice, when there is a solo female traveller eating on her own, she may not feel comfortable waiting around for so long. This doesnt bother me but i do know colleagues and friends who sometimes may feel vulnerable because travelling on business and just wants to eat and leave. This was not possible for me and i was left for around 45 minutes longer than needed. I did try to catch the servers eyes but they genuinely did not look in my direction at all. So felt a little overlooked. Bit of a shame."
