"The newly renovated Tropicana was having a soft opening. Staff was a little green and not all the rooms were open. That said it is still a lovely place and a wonderful location to visit old town San Jose del Cabo. Staff was very anxious to make our stay overnight a wonderful experience and they did! Have stayed at the Tropicana off and on for 30 years!"

"I was extremely with the Hotel Posada. Super clean, definitely Mexican in style, friendly staff especially the lady receptionist. The bed was really comfortable and the pillows so good that I wanted to buy one. I hope the Costco back here in Calgary has the same ones."
