I usually get a decent rate. It is centrally located near Union Square. It is still owned by the same family that built it after the 1906 earthquake. It has a home & family feeling - old San Francisco. It’s a great place."

I don't recall on the Hotel's description here on Expedia or on their own website that the deposit was $400 up front. I stayed for 6 days so that should have been around $170.
