"Cow Hollow was a perfectly adequate place to stay. The room was clean, the staff were friendly, and the area was VERY walkable- lots of restaurants and sights are within either walking or a short drive. A BIG bonus is the free parking with a gated lot downstairs. Rooms a bit worn and dated but the heat and ac work and everything is clean. Good stay for a great price."

"The location is great; a 10 minute walk to Ghirardelli Square, on main bus routes and coffee shops and a great pizza place minutes away. The motel is older and not modernized, but the beds are newer and very comfortable. The staff were helpful and the place was clean. "

"Neighbourhood: Fairly clean, mostly just have to worry about dog-owners not picking up. 10-15 min walk to numerous areas with lots of restaurants (Union St, Chestnut St, Polk St, Ghirardelli Square). Transit: Excellent. Bus stop directly in front and across the street. You can get to/from the airport with a bus and train ride (about 60-90 min).
