"While we only had one night there the staff treated us like we were their best clients. I can’t say enough about their kindness and assistance. This property is well located in the Old Quarter Hanoi. It is close to all the activities of Hanoi’s Old Quarter . Our room was adequate for the length of stay . I know they have a range of rooms . Nice breakfast but a bit tight for space for this busy hotel . They had or good amenities that we didn’t get to use due to our short stay. It earns its 4 stars . "

"Great 5 star hotel in the Old Quarter Hanoi . A great Roaring Twenties motif with amazing era furnishings. Rooftop bar and pool and a great spa downstairs. Perfectly located near all the activities in the Old Quarter. Great dining room with excellent food. The very best thing is the staff at all levels. The concierge staff are fantastic. They will find you , provide you or fix anything and everything you need . I have to mention Camellia , while everyone was wonderful she is amazing , beyond 5 star service ! Thank you Grande Hotel du lac , you made Hanoi a must return."
