"Having stayed previously, we booked the Neptune suite, for 3 people and our dog. Breakfast and service were first class. Because we were at the top of the building, the roof blinds were useless, letting in light and not fitted properly, def needs replacing, in both rooms. Not enough storage in the small bathroom, especially for number of people."

"Could not wish for more. Lovely village, perfect old world setting and just a few miles from the main road. An historic pub that matches it's promise in every way. Very friendly staff and welcoming locals. Nice choices at breakfast too. "

"The lack of heating. Leaking water from ceiling in Hubbard suite and bathroom radiator not working. Lack of hot water in room we were moved into."

"Everything was v clean. We stayed in the Wotter Room on the second floor. Yes it could all do with a bit of a paint in patches but the room is charming and huge. The view was amazing - we could see the fireworks in Plymouth the first night that we stayed. Had a fab Nepalese curry on Wednesday followed by an Indian pudding which was delicious. Steak on the second night. The hotel is on the edge of Dartmoor but close enough to the local tourist attractions. We will definitely return. "
