"The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, we were made very welcome, another room was found with less stairs for my elderly aunt I was travelling with, everything we needed, home from home, very comfortable bed, wide range of food served within the inn, delicious I can recommend the seafood bisque! We will be staying again. "

"Visited the area for the wonderful Salcombe Crab Festival. This friendly pub is a convenient 5 miles from Salcombe by bike (up and down some large hills!). Comfortable rooms and an excellent breakfast."

"Beautiful, the views really make this hotel magical. Its tucked away so you need a car if you're going out for dinner, the ferry is about a 30 minute walk and up/down steep steps, and stops at 6:30pm. Drinks were outrageously priced.. £16.50 for a beer, a soft drink and two packets of crisps!! All is forgiven when you take in the sea though. The interiors are also beautiful. Breakfast overlooking the little cove was just the most incredible way to start the day, and it was delicious! One irritation for me is not having anywhere to put shower gel etc. in the shower - but now I am being picky!! "

"Fab little find. A really nice hotel with lovely staff. Lovely rooms. Little bit of damage in my room but this was explained with a lovely note. Rooms are very well decorated and the bathroom was very clean. My only negative is the breakfast start time at 8am. With being at work I could have done with it being a little earlier. However it’s much more suited to holidaymakers. I will for sure return. "

"Excellent Hotel, located right opposite the beach. Staff were extremely friendly and food was good, both at breakfast & dinner. Great size room, with amazing views. There is parking next to the Hotel in a pay & display car park, which is £10 for 24 hours"
