"It's a truly unique location... being cut off by the tide twice a day on your own island. It's stunning. The attention to Art Deco is remarkable. It was spotlessly clean. The service is relaxed not over the top. The food was really good, not superb and perhaps not quite worth the price, but I get that you're paying for the location as much as anything. Love that the rooms don't have TVs to be authentic to the period. It's fun having the 4x4 transfer over the beach or the sea tractor...

"Room was small but very tidy, it had everything we needed. Bed wasn’t the comfiest but ok for one night. The view was amazing, high over other houses the countryside stretched for miles. Don’t book if you don’t like heights. Unfortunately there was something making a noise all night (heating, A/C, water) I don’t know what but it sounded like a heart beat all night long and kept me awake. One if the steam rooms out of order. Large glass door smashed and awaiting repair. Loungers by pool were soggy and stank. Lifts up to the spa all out of order Breakfast was the highlight. Ok hotel but nothing special. "
