Nice enough hotel for a couple of nights. Decent food and a comfortable room albeit the traffic noise was a little intrusive. Staff were friend and Nicole an absolute star.
The hotel was a joy to stay at. The staff are fabulous and Nicole at breakfast was so lovely. The food was really good and would recommend the Argento rose as a perfect end to the day. The bar staff would look after an open bottle for us in the fridge. The rooms were so comfortable and the bathroom was perfect and clean.
I am definitely coming back on my next visit to Dartmoor. Thank you to all the staff for creating a welcoming hotel.
I booked at the last minute via Expedia and selected the breakfast option. Slightly cheaper than the "official" Greene King site. Fantastic greeting by staff - the checking in procedure was very slick. The room was clean (two single beds - I only needed one). Bathroom had recently been refurbished. Shower was great (Grohe fittings - classy!). Bed was comfy. Tea/coffee making facilities great. Dined that evening in the restaurant, it was very quiet but I was attended very well and the steak and chips were delicious. Breakfast menu was very good and the full English was excellent. Plenty of other options too, exactly what you would hope and expect. The view from the roof mounted (velux style) window onto the river was excellent but my only gripe was the road noise. I think the window (room number 11) needs a refurb, although it's not misted, to enhance the noise insulation from traffic. If I was staying again and I'd certainly choose to then I'd ask for a room that faced out towards the rear of the property.
Location good , staff very friendly , Access to accommodation via the overflow carpark was excellent as I am disabled ( no stairs ) , very Good Breakfast
Nothing to dislike about the Dartbridge Inn
Do Not rely on the Post Code
Excellent hotel and very friendly staff, clean, tidy and felt safe. We were made to feel welcome by the management and all the servers/bar staff. Ll do an excellent job. Nothing too much trouble.
I was very impressed by the hotel.

The only thing was a bit annoying was traffic noise it was so hot we at to have window open but everything else was good
The Service was good.
Room was clean and comfortable.
The beer was nice but the Red wine I had was corked.
The food was quite nice but was let down by not having certain things on the menu etc.
Ryan & Kirsty with their team gave us impressive service & excellent food during our 4 night stay.
The Inn is obviously very popular because at times they were extremely busy.
Special mention for Anna for giving us such friendly, efficient service at breakfast. We shall really miss her smiling face and marvellous avocado, salmon & egg dishes.
Best wishes to you all, from Chris, Jan & Jill

Had to wait at the bar to check in as no staff around(14:30) and then shown to the doorway to the room.
Room was small with a dangerous low sloping roof with no warning signs!
The property is located on a very noisy road unfortunately, although it is in very convenient location en route to south Devon etc.
Staff friendly but not as attentive as they could be!
The staff were lovely, very attentive and friendly. It was really busy when we arrived and had we wanted a table in the restaurant we wouldn't have got one, they did fit us in for dinner. It might be sensible to book a table at the same time as booking the room next time, but it was a very pleasant place to stay. Everything you needed was there. Most of all though, it's the staff that made it such a lovely place to stay. Thank you!

Would not book again
Stayed here because of convenience of location. Would not book again. Very VERY uncomfortable bed, noisy fire doors in corridor disrupted sleep and breakfast service was pretty poor.
Staff were very friendly and welcoming from point of entry to leaving.
Room wise, the bed was lumpy and room too hot, despite turning down the radiator. We were in a room facing the road, wish I'd brought my earplugs with me. I'm a light sleeper so the road noise unfortunately kept me awake.
Very clean. Room
Needed updating . Occasional interference on tv.
Large car park. Restaurant looked nice but didn't eat there

Although we booked well in advance for a double room, we were given a twin bed room and they could not change us. The room was so small you could only stand in half of it due to the sloping roof. There was mold around the windows and the blind was so dilapidated that it was hard to adjust. The floors were beyond creaky. The inn stated that it was Expedia that booked the twin beds and it wasn't the first time. Our friends who booked at the same time had a much superior room which was larger, had lovely drapes and a much larger bathroom. This is not the first time Expedia booked us in a inferior room from what we requested. We had to have our room changed when we went to Nova Scotia through Expedia. We would like someone from Expedia to contact us as we are not happy.
After experiencing an allergic response to something in the accommodation we were thrown out without any assistance. There was no compassion. No offer to help find alternate accommodation even though it was getting late. It was a long drive home with a very poorly passenger.
The treatment we received at this hotel was appalling and dehumanising. It was a good display of a business trying to protect it's own interests regardless of what was happening. I would not wish it for anyone, or want it to happen to anyone else, ever. I can only recommend to stay away.
