"Beautiful hotel in the most stunning location. Fantastic for dog walking and miles away from anything. Beautiful views, with access to sea and sand. Lovely food, rooms are great. Sadly didn’t get to use the spa as was fully booked but very quiet in the hotel so not sure how had booked it!"

"Such a beautiful place to stay! On the Dartington Estate. So peaceful and quiet. It had the feel of an old college - how I imagine an Oxford Uni college house to be. My room was huge with a queen size bed, tea and coffee making facilities, toiletries, lovely towels and robes. It wasn’t en suite - too old for that! But I had my own lovely bathroom (shower only) directly across the little corridor. Great pub and restaurant at the White Hart across the little quadrangle through beautiful gardens. Great breakfast and friendly staff. Definitely staying here again! Did I mention incredible value for money?"

"Excellent value for money for a small but well equipped hotel. Newish owners clearly making some cosmetic improvements. Only constructive feedback would be that it wasn’t always easy to identify who were members of staff and who were guests. Would definitely stay again"

"The Royal Seven Stars just oozes history and character. It is just delightful and located right in the middle of the glorious town of Totnes. The staff are all warm, friendly and helpful. We had a lovely dinner with the extra treat of excellent live music. Great atmosphere in the bar, obviously popular with visitors and locals alike. Our room was really comfortable. We had searched for somewhere doggy friendly, but did expect so many facilities in the room just for our little dog. She was really spoilt, thank you."

"We wanted a nice relaxing and chilled weekend. The hotel, room except for the shower and hairdryer, food and the staff were awesome. However we couldn’t use the pool as it was freezing cold. The pool was one of the reasons we picked this hotel. "

"This cottage is more spacious than it looks. We had a family Christmas together and there was plenty of space for everyone and lots if different areas to spend time in. The cottage is extremely well equipped, and we cooked Christmas dinner. There is a garden area, but it is not directly outside the cottage, it is a large area and our grandchildren had a lot of fun playing in it. All beds were comfortable with clean linen. We know the area well and the cottage is 2 miles from Slapton village which is very pretty. The owners were very helpful and communiwith them was good. All in all we would recommend."
