"Barcelò was gorgeous! The scenary around the resort was very beautiful. Food at the Italian was delicious along with Spanish. Steak house was a bust! Service around the resort by servers was good along with the cantina. Beach and ocean were gorgeous and very quiet. Boat traffic wasn’t to terrible either. Would recommend this hotel to anyone! "

"Great location about 1.5 miles or a $6 cab ride to the malecon. Close to the airport 15 mins if there’s some traffic. The Versailles neighborhood is right up the street with a lot of options for food if you do not want to do AI everyday. Rooms were clean a bit noisy at night from the entertainment at dreams or secrets depending on the night but everything wrapped up by 11. Pools were clean and the entertainment staff fun and friendly. A bell rings at the pool when a whale is spotted if u r there...

"The hotel is very lovely reminds me of a historic hacienda, beautifully decorated, the staff were all amazing, food was good, and the area was safe. The staff recommended a Tequila tour, it was great, and we had fun! Thank you!"
