"Great location down the road from Hearst Castle and Friends of the Elephant Seal viewpoint. About 2 hours north of Solvang. Hotel is a little on the older side but it has quaint and comfortable characteristics. Staff was extremely helpful and kind throughout our stay. Parking is near the rooms so not too far to carry luggage. Steps away from the beach lookouts. Limited options on food/restaurants. Room fridge was a little noisy and the bed/pillows could be updated. Overall, great stay for those...

"The fact that it’s a pet friendly hotel and my dog barked for like 2 minutes and front desk brought it to my attention It’s a large hotel and to prevent from guest complaining they should have a separate section for guest with pets "
