"I loved my two weekend stay. I come here to clear my mind. The beach is only a 5 min walk away and lots of great local restaurants and bars. The only negative was that the bed in 520 is kinda worn down. The right side has a dip..tine for a new box spring? Overall I'll definitely be back again."

"This is a clean and well maintained hotel. It has a bistro type restaurant and bar and the food is good though a bit generic. Marketplace is medium sized though prices are of course high. The courtyard is nice but be sure to get a room facing it and not the highway. The main downside is this obnoxious thing hotels are doing in CA since the pandemic, namely, not cleaning the room every day. Come on people that was 2-3 years ago. Spend the money and hire some staff. "

"I enjoyed the location because its outside of the busier Santa Cruz area but close to cute Aptos downtown and Captiola is just a couple exits North. There's fast and easy access to the Highway 1. Grocery stores, shops, coffee, are within walking distance. The property is very well maintained. It has a quiet, woodsy vibe but has a very lively dance floor on Friday and Saturday nights with very good live music. It was very fun. I would definitely stay there again. "
