Beautiful on park grounds. It was cold when we arrived in January. But after a few hours the heater warmed it nicely. Lovely to walk. To so many trails I need to schedule a longer stay

Great area but the hotel is only ok. It was cold by CA standards and the heaters in the room never got the temp to be comfortable, the hot water was only warm, and no wifi in the rooms. Also, there was dried coffee on the counter and rock hard peanut butter stuck to the kitchen sink. None of this was terrible but for the money I’d try somewhere else.

I accidentally booked the wrong date and didn’t realize it but this staff is so amazing they were able to give us a place to stay and were so friendly and kind about it. I would definitely stay again.

The lodge is inside the State park and has gorgeous walking paths. However the rooms are old. My room’s heater was making noises all night and wouldn’t let me sleep. Front desk staff look new and inexperienced. They were just reading from prepared texts. No common sense!

A bit run down but great location. I was frustrated that coffee maker was listed as an amenity but none existed, there was an electric kettle which is not a coffee maker. Considering that the coffee bar was not open till 8 am and staffed by only one person, this was a disappointment and inconvenience
