Beautiful resort with very unique decorations and furnishings. Nice large room for a reasonable price. I would have given higher ratings if not for a couple of things. 1. It’s very frustrating when there are “vegetarian” items, but are not truly vegetarian b/c they use chicken broth. There is no reason for that…each of these items could easily be made with vegetable broth and provide true vegetarian options. 2. The day before checking in, I received a text asking when I planned on arriving and if I had any special requests. Others in our party also received the same text. I responded w/ our estimated time, asked if early check in would be an option, and also if it was possible to get firmer pillows. No one from our party received responses. Why send these texts if you are not actually going to respond? While the above are not deal breakers, they did keep me from giving a higher rating. Otherwise, it really is a nice resort and we will visit again.

This is a beautiful, elegant hotel in the spirit of an Italian villa. The grounds are beautiful, the service is outstanding, gracious, large guestrooms and gathering areas. Andrew was the friendliest, most competent valet for our car. Always knew our name and our car! Thanks for a great stay.
