"The property was very peaceful and clean. There’s no AC but many hotels don’t in that area anyway. Plus it’s winter right now. If you’re on the second floor, usually rooms with views are, there are no elevators. Also, there is no water filter so you have to go to the office to refill water bottles, the place is a bit dated, and there is no gym here in case that’s something you can’t vacation from. Breakfast options sounded lacking but after we ate it, we thought it was delicious and quite filling. We wanted a peaceful getaway and that’s exactly what we got. Carmel by the sea is such a beautiful city and this hotel is no exception. "
