"Staying at a 5 star hotel I expect certain things. Shower head was busted spraying water all over the ceiling. Blackout shade was missing from one of our windows. Popcorn crumbs outside our door for the 4 days we were there that were never vacuumed. (Not our crumbs). Hotel was quick to address but annoying nonetheless. Service at the pool was so slow. Never got the food I ordered. Took 45 minutes to get the coffee I ordered at breakfast. Food and drink insanely expensive. $25 for a pina colada??...

"Beautiful views, food was good but not very hot as in temperature, room was clean but mattress was extra firm ( not to my liking). Overall it was great!"

Staff (Karin our butler, Yessica, Alex, server and chef fantastic, servers Johnathon and Marino, the beach bar staff, room staff everyone, all so friendly and helpful and made our vacation fantastic. Food and drink was delicious. We hope to come back again next year! Wonderful. "

"Hotel el Covento is very well located, close to all sorts of dining and shopping locales and next to the Cathedral. It's colonial architecture gives it a very special charm and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The restaurant food and waitresses are really good. The only mishap was the faulty elevator but overall I would definitely recommend it."
