"Very unusual building with intriguing history! Lovely view. Hostess Roxanne was really helpful and looked after our requirements whilst we were there. It is quite ‘far off the beaten track’ so arranging transport during your stay( beforehand)is recommended. Rooms clean and tastefully furnished, nice towels and good shower/ toilets. "

"This is a cute cottage on Russell Island, just a few houses up from a shallow sandy beach great for kids and families. The home was nicely decorated, clean, the linens and bedding were fresh, kitchen stocked with some helpful cooking basics, the beach toys and kayak wonderful, as well as the hospitality from both the owner, Carole, and caretaker, Audrey. Audrey met us at the boat and helped facilitate a golf cart for us and had fresh bread waiting at the house for us; it really made the arrival...

"Zlata and Oleg have a great homey place with an amaizing view of Fish Bay. Nice and quiet side of the island. The hot tub was a great way to spend an afternoon as well.We will definately stay here again on our next trip."

"It was great over all but you have to have a rental car. Basic but very good. Have the most beautiful beach on the island near by- Deep Bay Beach. There is a guy there on the beach that cooks you a fish that he just caught in the ocean. Also, there is a nice short but challenging track to Fort Barrington with a breathtaking view on the Bay. "

"The cottage has everything you need for 2 people. The drive up is steep but paved. Close to 'town'. There are other properties nearby, but the foliage makes it feel pretty private. We would stay again. "

"Nice little guest house with beautiful views over Hart Bay. Very comfortable for two people. Kitchen well supplied to allow for some cooking. Beach towels and chairs provided, which was a bonus. Host on property and very responsive. Property is dependent on rain for all water, so necessary to conserve water (and purchase all drinking water). Pool deck could use some upkeep. Road to the house is not for the faint of heart - definitely need an SUV and have to drive carefully on the narrow/rough...
