"We are retired and now have time for getaways. This is are go to place. All the times we have been there it has been a nice uncrowded hotel. We try to go midweek when it's calmer and kid free. The staff is so nice. Our room is always nice. The beds are very comfy and have crisp clean sheets and have a nice down blanket. The room is always spotlessly clean. There is a nice restaurant/bar in the hotel that has light meals from salads, pizza, burgers and desserts in case you don't want to venture out. There are also quite a few restaurants in the area also. We have recently found out that this hotel was sold to a company that manages Hilton hotels. They are going to begin some rehabbing and upgrades starting in September. This place was always affordable so I hope they keep it that way. We really enjoy ourselves and the area."
