The neighborhood (East London) is interesting but it took me a while to grasp that it is the oldest settled part of the city, at least going back to the Romans. Of course, the Tower of London (really a castle, so it’s misleadingly named) is right at the doorstep, along with an Underground station with two train lines. Really a very nice place, not particularly trendy, just comfortable, great convenience and value, and nice people. I would definitely go back. I’m an actual guest, not a bot."

"Over night stay in London, approx 5 min walk to Kings Cross station. A practical no frills clean hotel, modern small room, very clean but comfy bed, although a small double bed. Nice coffee station and bar area by reception with a nice pub next door. "
