"Our room was neat and clean. We definitely appreciated the vinyl laminate rather than carpet. The beds were very comfortable and the pillows were awesome - 2 different firmness levels, so you could pick what worked best for you. Breakfast was the standard fare, but certainly as good as most hotels we stayed at offering free breakfasts. Unfortunately, the coffee was terrible. My husband judges a hotel by its mattresses and he said about The Village Inn, this is the best sleep I've had in a hotel - ever! I hope the power is out again tonight.
