"Staff was great across the board- front office, bellman, concierge and dining room- everyone went out of their way to make my stay above average- and they succeeded! The physical property is the perfect blend of old and modern. Beautiful dining room and bar, generous and delicious breakfast; pool and sauna! I’d stay again when visiting Madrid. The location has good access to everything, really a short walk to way more interesting areas. It felt safe enough."

"Rooms are very very small. Poorly designed. The toilet was right in front of the sink so you had to stand on the side of the sink. Why? No toom to open 2 suitcases let alone one. Breakfast was delicious and had plenty of choices. Right across the street from the train station. "

"Lovely friendly greeting on arrival. With a welcome drink and pastries. Efficient check in , and recommendations for a place to eat and drink with a voucher. Helpful information on travel etc. to visit sights. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, buffet style. Hot drinks and water available all day free of charge. Easy walk from the station, and walkable to all areas of interest we wanted to visit. Only down size is some noise from street cleaners in the early hours, but nothing can be done about...
