From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm, attentive service that made us feel truly welcome. The suite was beautifully clean, well-appointed, and incredibly comfortable, but the highlight was undoubtedly the breathtaking view—waking up to the sight of Lake Wakatipu and the surrounding mountains was pure magic. The location is fantastic! It’s within walking distance of all the best Queenstown attractions, including the Skyline Gondola, amazing restaurants, lively bars, shops, and even the stunning lakeside beaches. It was so convenient to explore the town on foot, yet the hotel still felt peaceful and relaxing. If you’re looking for a luxurious, comfortable, and perfectly located place to stay in Queenstown, this is it! We loved every moment and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend!"

"Great location for staying in Queenstown. We were able to easily walk downtown in less than ten minutes, but still have our private lodge when we were done for the day. We appreciated the private kitchen and on site shared laundry facilities. The bathroom sink was kind of small, and the water pressure was outrageous from both faucets, but that didn't negatively impact our stay. We would definitely stay here again next time we're in the Queenstown area."

"The Sherwood Hotel in Queenstown is gorgeous, but it might not have been the best fit for us. We were expecting more of a resort vibe with extra amenities and a bit more attention to detail. The hotel focuses on conservation and minimalism, which is great, but it meant we had to request extra towels and supplies. The breakfast was outstanding, with high-quality food and presentation. It's a bit out of the way from the main city, so we had to rely on Uber rides. The hotel was quiet and had great lake views, but the walls were a bit thin, and the bathrooms were outdated. Overall, it’s a unique, eco-friendly place that reminded me of a more "crunchy granola" version of the Ace Hotel."
