"The restaurant is excellent. The hotel itself puts a strong emphasis on environmental sustainability. Rooms are varied and a little quaint. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Amenities include sauna and yoga. Massages can be booked. Town is a long walk away — but a bus comes by every 15 minutes. "

"Close to town. Only 5 minutes walk, uphill going back to hotel, via gardens. Room large, clean and modern with added bonus of fridge and lots of sports channels on tv. No safe but reception happy to keep valuables secure. Parking can be an issue as hotel as limited spaces and most streets had 2 hour limits during daytime hours. We were lucky as found an all day space. Friendly staff who were most helpful. Would have no hesitation in staying at this hotel again should i return to Queenstown. "

"We stayed at this property two times during our time in New Zealand. It is a really nice property; it is very stylish, clean and comfortable, the rooms we were in had great views of the lake too. The staff was friendly and so helpful, we were doing a couple of the great tracks and they stored our excess luggage for us while we were on the hike for free. The hotel is close to town and an easy walk, if you don’t mind the hill, to dinner and activities there. Public transport, the buses, are about a block away too, lots of construction is going on, so one time the stop was across the street, the next it was a street over and up, the next it was a street over and down, just ask the staff they point you in the right direction. Of course Queenstown is on the more expensive side for the country, so this was the most expensive place we stayed but it was worth every Penny to us. We highly recommend this hotel! "
