"From the outside this is a beautiful historic Manor House but in the room we had it didn’t feel any different to anywhere else. The grounds are lovely. The bed was uncomfortable and made for a poor 1st nights sleep. The staff are good and they did look to see if they could make our stay more comfortable. For breakfast we both had Eggs Royale which was really nice but not worth the £15pp price tag. Going back to the room what it really needed was black out curtains as the light really shone...

The breakfast was good and plentiful and The leisure facilities are nice however the hotel is in need of an update all round. The pillows and especially the bed need to be renewed. It was kept clean so the service staff do a great job. Staffing isn’t over plentiful and you often have to go looking for them as they are utilised across the whole hotel."
