"The staff were so friendly and welcoming. We were given free coffee and biscuits while the lady checked that our room was ready,which it was. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was self serve and lovely. There was full English, cereals, fruits and seeds,yoghurts, croissants and pastries and various breads. Jams,honey and Nutella were available for the toast. It's a very quiet and peaceful location. We would definitely stay here again. Just across the canal was a great canal waterways and boats museum. Well worth a visit. "

"This is the best hotel we have stayed in for some time. We were visiting Chester for the races so wanted somewhere near. We were not disappointed as it was less than 10 minutes walk to the race course gates, in fact our room overlooked a small part of the racecourse. We were able to check in slightly early and our room was great. Very light, spacious and clean. The bed was massive. It was super comfy and the air conditioning worked well. We had breakfast included and again what a lovely experience. We had a table by the window overlooking the racecourse. We were served at the table rather than it being the usual free for all buffet and there was a good choice. Would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay again next time we visit Chester. The only slight niggle was when we arrived it was quite tricky finding the entrance to the car park as it wasn’t very well sign posted but it was a small thing and we soon forgot about it once we got in to the hotel. "

"Booked in for a night whilst the other half went to a wedding and I stayed in the hotel with the little one. Quick check in and gave us late checkout at no cost and parking was free as it was the weekend. We used the pool in the morning which was clean and warm and the steam room was a nice addition. I was going to order food to the room that evening but didn’t, the cost was a little steep for me £20 for some fish pieces and sweet potato chips to your room. Room was large, and soda bed was made for the little one, bathroom clean with towels and the mattresses are comfortable. All in all a quick and pleasant stay with great staff. "
