"We booked a package deal on Expedia and found it to be a great value. Although our room was a bit on the smaller side, it was still very comfortable. It turned out to be a perfect spot to celebrate my 50th birthday! Despite being located on a bustling street, the rooms were surprisingly soundproof, ensuring a peaceful stay. We especially enjoyed winding down each evening on the rooftop with a glass of wine. We would definitely stay here again!"

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the incredible staff, who went above and beyond to make our experience special. Their hospitality truly made us feel at home. The hotel’s location is perfect—right in the heart of the historic center, making it easy to explore Cartagena’s charming streets, vibrant plazas, and incredible restaurants on foot. Despite being so centrally located,our room itself was a peaceful oasis, offering an escape from the city’s lively energy. The property is stunning, with a rich history as a former monastery that has been beautifully restored while preserving its colonial charm. Traveling as a family with teenagers and kids, we found the hotel to be both welcoming and accommodating. The rooftop pool was a favorite spot for our children to unwind, while we enjoyed some drinks and views of the city. Every detail, from the comfortable rooms to the delicious breakfast, exceeded our expectations. Santa Catalina Hotel is truly a gem, and we will definitely return on our next visit to Cartagena. "Beautiful Boutique Hotel with a lot of charm, ambiance, excellent service, quality food and fabulous location over the water, bridge and Historic Castillo de San Felipe in Getsemani. Nice, relaxing pool on the 3rd floor. Minutes walk to several restaurants, salsa clubs, the famous Walled City and ferry terminal for boat day trips!"

"We had a lovely stay at this property. Eric especially made our stay memorable; he was very knowledgeable and helpful. The property itself is beautiful. Very private and quiet. We booked a Studio Suite and couldn’t have been happier - it was clean and spacious. One thing to note was the hot water in the shower didn’t work sometimes, but not a big deal overall. Maybe this is commonplace for this area from time to time. Overall it was a lovely stay and I would highly recommend."
