"Amazing hotel with stunning views of Lake Ashi. All-inclusive resort style, with Breakfast and dinner buffet included. Onsen with indoor and open air pools, all necessary toiletries provided, toothbrush/toothpaste, razors, q tips, combs, amazing skin care products! The Hakone Ropeway is just a 3-5 minute walk. It was a very relaxing and rejuvenating stay. Definitely recommend and would love to stay here again!"

"We arrived too early to check in but the staff who was there on the morning of 2/11 was so helpful in getting us situated with lockers to store our luggage until check-in time. We appreciated the helpfulness and patience of the staff member that day. She and another staff member were there at check-in at 3:00 and again they were so helpful. We would stay there again. The hotel is also so convenient due to being in walking distance to Atami Station as well as to bus and taxi hubs."

"If you’re looking for a traditional Japanese Inn stay, this was fun for a night. As Americans the entire concept was foreign to us but we looked forward to fully immersing ourselves for an evening. If you’re in the same boat as us some recommendations: Be prepared to be a little confused. The slippers are difficult to walk in so it feels silly walking up the stairs to your room however it’s a fun experience. Take it slow although the staff may not be understanding that this is your first time...

"I really enjoyed the rooms at the property. The Ryokan style rooms with paper screen sliding doors and tatami mats made the room feel comfortable as well as the western style beds. "We stayed two nights in a Japanese room with private open-air bath. It was fantastic. The room was clean, modern and had everything we needed. Words cannot describe the private open air bath which we used as much as possible. We had dinner and breakfast included - these meals may be challenging for western tastes but if you're feeling adventurous, go for it! Unfortunately the public bath was closed when we visited so I cannot comment on this."
