"Massive room. Incredible balcony seaview. Feels very much like living in a home. Close driving distance to Mount Omuro. The buffet is a bit costly with what it has to offer. It's not close to any convenient store, so better do some groceries first before getting here."

Like much of Japan, an exercise in contrasts: Fabulous quality of meals, crazy prices for wines; generous toiletries, the few towels are small & old (thin & full of holes); lovely terrace, no cushions for the chairs and algae line around the spa tub; cute bistro set on the upper terrace, breakfast can't be delivered there; massage therapists are sweet, enthusiastic, strong and poorly trained; billiard table is promoted, the felt is full of holes and...
