"The staff were amazing and extremely helpful. Provided what we needed at request. We wish was that in them knowing we had a vehicle, that they were able to direct us to a nearby parking lot with affordable pricing. The signs are confusing at times. We ended up paying ¥3400 the first night for overnight parking and ¥6100 the second night in the nearby lots. Other than that, the room was clean except a little black mold near the AC unit. Deep. cleaning could be better. Happy with our 2 night stay...

"This place is the best! My husband and I wanted to visit Hakone for an day and I’m so glad I found this spot—close to the train station (we walked)—and a gorgeous view from our room. It was so peaceful and the outdoor baths are lovely! Yummy pastries in the morning and the staff are very kind and helpful. "

"The parking is not within the property so you have to park your car in the parking lot which is 6-7 minutes walking distance from the property. Our room did not have a view from the window but it was nice. We would stay there again."

"The staff are wonderful and so friendly. The location is a short walk from the Gora station and there’s a lovely coffee shop at the base of the hill the hotel is on. The rooms are plenty spacious and the bar / social area is warmly lit and friendly. The other guests staying were welcoming and chatty but would give you space if needed to. And the onsen!? Amazing. The stone bath is a great size to relax in and you can book a slot for the evening before you head out in the morning, the cypress...

"It's a great stay here, friendly staff service but a bit inconvenience as it's situated at hilly terrains, especially carrying large luggages uphill by walk on our arrival. The onzen, kitchen and pantry facilities was nice and convenient. "

"Beautiful view from our room. Only down side was our room was on the warmer side. And we could not figure out the AC units remote. Even with google translate pictures, the settings werent working. We resorted to opening the balcony windows and turning the heat off. Other than that the room was clean and an enjoyable space. "

"It’s in a remote area suitable for those who drive. It comes with a free parking area just outside the block. Not much amenities around. Nearest convenience store is 3-4 minutes drive away. Simple croissant breakfast is quite good."
