"There's no private bathroom in the room. Most Japanese accommodations provide a yukata robe, especially for when accessing common bathroom facilities. This property had none to offer. I would not recommend this accommodation to anyone who has physical limitations, such as difficulty walking as there is a very steep switchback to access this property. Also there was no signage so I easily got lost. The facility itself is quiet, but the announcements from the train station carries all the way to...

"Such a cute little place, clean, simple decor with great vibe. Cramped but indoor bike parking. There was a washing machine, although it was in high demand so I had to wait for it, and it was a bit slow, but it did the trick. The onsen bath was private, which was nice, but there were only 2 of them, so I would imagine there might occasionally be a wait for that too. 5 minute walk from the bay where you could watch the ships and see the fishermen packing that morning’s catch."

If you come into the Odawara Station, there is a bus that drops you off about a 8 minute walk from the property. The experience felt authentic and traditional. There are 2 identical private onsens (with indoor and outdoor options), so although you can only book once per day, we didn’t have any issue getting a slot.
