The building retains a lot of its original architecture, and the rooms have been built to preserve what’s been there as much as possible. "Pros: Modern and stylish, not expensive, spotlessly clean, dog friendly, staff were the friendliest we have come across on our travels and were great with our dog, you can take your dog in part of the restaurant, food was nice and not overpriced, plenty of space to take the dog for a walk, quiet area. The whole hotel was very clean. It looked lovely decorated for Christmas at the time. Cons: I genuinely can't think of any. We loved it here. "

"The staff were friendly and helpful. The waiter who served us dinner on the evening of 22nd March was particularly helpful and very professional. The room although a little dated was of a good size. The room was clean and the house keeping ensured the room was refreshed on the 22nd March. My only concern was that a significant number of boys, possibly there due to a football event were not supervised appropriately by the adults, who were obviously responsible for them. "The only issue I had was that when taking my car to the underground car part the car scraped the floor at the bottom of the ramp. On speaking with other guests they also mentioned this.. no warning signs at all."
