A sad echo of former greatness. Being there felt as depressing as watching an elderly former heavyweight champion getting beaten up in their 60s for enough money for bed and board. Cheap, student level accommodation perfect for drunks and football fans. Don't take anyone you care about here.

What a beautiful art deco style hotel. It must have been quite something in it's payday. The lounge area is simply gorgeous and relaxing. The dining area is surreal and a beautiful work of art. The grandness of the place is special. The mirrored glass on the doors and walls is quite unique. The room is very reasonable and comfortable. Usual TV and coffee and a comfy bed.a bath and shower with soap and body wash. All at a very reasonable nightly rate. Breakt ends at 9:30 and I missed out so get in there and spend the money on breakfast in this beautiful setting.

Very grand hotel with a lot of history, even stories about ghosts that haunt mainly the 3 rd floor. The floor we were on lol. We couldn't fault the cleanliness and helpfulness and politness of the staff. Didn't have chance to look around at this vast hotel but will definitely stay there again as being right in the middle of Liverpool and such a good price what more could you ask for !
