"10 min walk from Kyoto station. Nearest 7-11 is like 5 min walk away. Close to Aeon (15 min walk ) Shopping mall opposite Kyoto station. They didn't clean our place because we didn't indicate if we wanted to clean. Anyway for 2 nights stay, our room wasn't that dirty. They offered free iced tea and hot water for our maggi mee or drip hot coffee. We ended up eating bkft at the lounge on level 1 before leaving there. My children loved this place. "Very modern and clean property with complete amenities. Drawback is the size of the room but to be expected for a Japan hotel at this price range. Location still good to reach Doutonbori/Namba main area and metro stations within 15 mins walk."

The property wasn't the cleanest, but that is more due to the age of the property rather than the staff not cleaning, which they were diligent in doing.
