"This was our third stay here! We love the close location to the train station and bus to the airport. Also the boat taxi is only a few minutes walk. Plenty of restaurants and shopping. Rooms provide minimal amenities with older decor but perfect for a couple of nights. Staff has always been very friendly and helpful. They also provide breakfast although we have not taken it. I will definitely stay here again! "

"Tucked up Parochia S. Marcuola just off the main Strada Nova this little hotel in Cannaregio is easy to find and within a walkable distance from the train and bus stations. Staff were helpful and spoke English. With the hotel as a base all of Venice can be reached on foot or from one of the nearby Vaporetto stops. There are plenty of places to eat and drink nearby, and fruit stalls in the nearby market provide an alternative refreshment. Accommodation is basic but clean and adequate for those on...

"No elevator, has to drag luggage to third floor using stairs. Tv not working. shower ok. 10 to 15 minutes walk to people mover to go to cruise port. Beware of restaurant below - overcharging. Look at the bill first before eating your order to avoid surprises - Tratoria Bella restaurant. We were ask to pay 106 euros for 2 instead of 14 euros plus tax per person. Beware of other eateries also."
