"We stayed at Rio Hotel for several nights, and our stay was very pleasant. The hotel staff are friendly, and the staff member who checked us in also helped take one of the suitcases up to our room. There is no elevator, so keep in mind that you will have to transport everything you have up at least one flight of stairs. "Nice property. Very small. Smelled old and musty but felt clean. Staff was fantastic, helpful and friendly! Wish there was more food options but Venice is full of food so it wasn't too challenging. One thing i really wish is that there was more decoration or home touches to the place. All around it was fine but my room did feel like a white walled closet and did not help with my mental space while I was there. Could just be a me thing though!"
