"Perfect location. Near many of the points of interest and the water bus. One negative was the tv which had probably 200 channels and all were in Italian. We certainly didn't travel to Venice to watch tv it is nice to have something to watch in bed at night. We are English speakers but they have nothing in French, German etc. Other than that it's a nice place "

He loved his room next to a side canal, which was very comfortable and relaxing, with great facilities . He also found the breakfast excellent. "Really spacious hotel room with new facilities. The bed was large and comfortable. The shower was great albeit a bit small and there were large and quality towels provided. All the staff from the receptionists to the housekeepers and breakfast staff were lovely. Standard Italian breakfast was good but no variety day to day except for the cakes. Excellent location as well, walking distance to everything including bus stops. Good soundproofing so it wasn't too loud despite being in a busy alley....

"We loved this little hotel, just steps from a tiny canal. The room and the double bed were small but this is Europe! Not a problem for us. There are cafes everywhere, including near this hotel, and a little gelato shop just over the bridge (30 second walk) we decided to call “Last Chance Gelato” temping us every night on our way back to the hotel for bedtime. This is a simple, safe, clean place to sleep in Venice. Great staff and lovely service. We’d stay again!"

"Beautiful small property with visually stunning touches. It's a somewhat unusual mix of a boutique hotel and an Airbnb, e.g. no front desk or maid service. Fantastic base for us to explore Venice for a few days. Centrally located with a 10-15 minute walk to St. Mark's and the Rialto, 5-10 minute walk to water taxi services, 20-25 minute walk to the train station and automobile pickups. Also, the restaurant right next door, Hostaria Bacanaria, was one of the best meals of our whole trip."
