"It’s a studio room that easily sleeps 4. There’s not much “hangout” space—no patio or balcony, but the location is amazing and the beach proximity was great. Wish the window that looked out in the ocean had been cleaned. It was so dirty we could really see out if it. Basically, this is a no frills place but served us well and the service by the management company was great."

"I absolutely loved the pool.Enjoyed staying there for 10 days.Now the negative.The hotel requires the guests to leave an ID in order to get towels for the pool, we left my wife’s ID and they lost it which is unacceptable. We had to leave without her ID. She‘s still very upset. "

"Lovely kitchenette suite here ... except for extreme shortage of drinking glasses and bowls for breakfast. They did supply more, but acted like wanting a second bowl and more than just two coffee mugs was an unusual request. The room itself and bed were just fine, though, and the rooftop pool was terrific. A block away was a lengthy pedestrian mall that seemed to stretch forever and was great to walk, full of shops and restaurants, and to beaches if you wanted."

"Myself and girlfriend stayed for 7 days at the occidental. We really appreciated the hospitality and gluten free options and awareness by the staff. They went above and beyond for the service. We were helped every morning by Emilia and Otillio at the beach club and were the best! Prior to coming we were concerned about the gluten free options and environment of the resort. There was lots to do with the xcaret park so close and discounts provided at the resort. Highly recommend and we will be coming back!"

"Celebrated my wife’s birthday here. The resort was really clean, the food was great especially the mexican and italian restaurant. The pools were nice and clean and easy to get around despite being big. The service was great. Loved it here ery relaxing. The coffee was so good in the coffee shop!! highly recommended. "
